Craig Chalmers is known to millions as one of the stars from the incredibly popular BBC TV talent show Any Dream Will Do - the nationwide search by Andrew Lloyd Weber to find a lead for his highly acclaimed show, Joseph And the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The BBC show was a huge success and Craig became one of the favourites in the competition, finishing in fifth place.  His appearance on the show firmly established him as one of the UK's most promising musical talents.

In the weeks following the show, theatre impresario Bill Kenwright invited Craig to audition for the lead role in the touring production of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Craig was successful and joined the cast in August 2007, making his debut as Joseph in the Churchill Theatre in Bromley.  It wasn’t until 2010 that Craig took his final curtain as Joseph, a record breaking three years later. Record breaking in so many ways including: performing around 1500 shows to almost 1.5 million people around the UK and Ireland. Not only was he loved by the audiences, he delivered an impressive record of rave reviews from the theatre critics.

During 2007, to celebrate the success of the BBC show, Bill Kenwright invited Craig to record an album with a little help from some of the other finalists from Any Dream Will Do. Dream On became an instant success in the charts and on February 17th 2008, Craig played, with the other members of the group, to a sell-out audience at the world-famous London Palladium. He also recorded the soundtrack to ''Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat''.

Since his breakthrough as Joseph, Craig has appeared on numerous TV programmes, including ''This Morning'', ''The Alan Titchmarsh Show'', ''The Paul O'Grady Show'', ''The F Word'' and BBC1 specials, ''West End Story'' and ''When Joseph Met Maria''.

Following his   successful run as Joseph, Craig has hosted events, made personal appearances   and starred in two Pantomimes - in Carlisle in 2010/11 as "Will Barrow" and as   "Aladdin" in Dunfermline 2011/2012. Having started his recording career   with Dream On, he has recently recorded his new single "15 Minutes of Fame"   which will be released in 2012. During the Autumn of 2011 Craig, and four  other reality TV Finalists formed the UK's first celebrity pop group inspired   by the songs from the worldwide TV phenomenon "Glee". The group perform  in the UK following a successful pre-launch Tour supporting Peter Andre, Lulu,   and Scouting for Girls.
Craig recently   returned to the role of Joseph for a Christmas Special between   Boxing Day and New Years Eve at the brand new G-Live theatre in Guildford   2011/12. The show was, and still is a big part of his life and after being   described as "one of the most popular Josephs of  all time" Craig has said he doesn’t rule out returning to don the coat of many colours in the future.  Craig has just confirmed his third Pantomime and will be returning to the Dunfermline Alhambra Theatre in Scotland as "Prince Charming" in their production of   "Cinderella"
