Wigton Christmas Lights Switch On
On Saturday 27th November, Craig made a special appearance in Wigton to switch on the Christmas lights and start the town’s festive celebrations. Craig said “It was FREEZING! but I was given such a warm welcome by everyone, I soon forgot about the cold. The town centre was jammed full of people and it was a fantastic turnout, I enjoyed every minute of the evening.”
Craig entertained the crowd with two of the Joseph all-time favourites: Any Dream Will Do and Close Every Door and of course the crowd joined in as he sang. Moments later he was in position for the countdown to the switch-on and before he knew it, was pushing the button for the Wigton Christmas Lights 2010. Everyone cheered and Craig soaked up the happy atmosphere among the crowds.
As was mentioned before, it was particularly cold on Saturday and Craig had decided to dress for fashion rather than warmth. He said “I was so cold, I had to go into a café where a nice woman gave me a cup of tea and sat me by the radiator to try and help me warm up before I drove home to see Jen. I’d like to thank her for looking after me and helping me thaw out.”
It took him a bit longer than usual to make his way down the motorway; at some points the temperature gauge on the car was registering minus six outside! He is spending a few days at home before rehearsals begin in earnest on Wednesday. This weekend he met a couple of the cast and will meet the others later this week. He is really looking forward to working with all of them and can’t wait to get started.
For those planning to go to Carlisle, Craig highly recommends the Hallmark Hotel where he stayed this weekend and reckons that anyone using the website discount to book will not be disappointed.
And finally, Craig says “I would like to thank everyone who worked so hard to make Saturday night’s event in Wigton a huge success. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and hope that you all have a great Christmas. I’m looking forward to seeing you all at The Sands Centre in the next few weeks!”

Pantomime Ticket Competition - Winner announced

It is now the eve of Craig and Jennifer's wedding and most of their guests have now gathered in Scotland's capital city for their special day. They are being joined by their families, many friends and colleagues.
Craig is photographed here relaxing at home before his big day.
Some of Craig's musical theatre pals will be arriving on Sunday morning after their Saturday evening performances. They certainly won't be short of entertainment on Sunday night!

Craig's Big Day!
Craig will marry his beautiful fiancee Jennifer Smith on Sunday 5th September 2010.
The ceremony and reception will be held at a luxury Country House Hotel on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
The happy groom said today: “Well it’s only 9 days to go now to my big day and I’m starting to get that nervous/excited feeling in my stomach! All the arrangements are in hand bar one or two things so I am just really looking forward to it now and can’t wait! Feels like I’m actually growing up he he!!”

On Friday 16th July 2010, Craig gave his final performance as Joseph in the ever-popular show. He delighted his fans on the night and made it an evening to remember. Watch the website for video clips from the evening and new photos.
